It works perfectly if you usually cram your iPad into a cramped backpack, and the iPad Pro is protected really well.

In a nutshell its designed to close by pulling the iPad down onto the keyboard, then closing the kickstand like closing the screen on a MacBook etc.

The stand uses spring hinges, so its fully adjustable from roughly 20 degrees to degrees. This is really nice when using the keyboard on varied surfaces as you can angle it perfectly i.

Your lap, a bar table, etc. The pencil holder works fine too–no risk of it falling out.

The real standout however, is the keyboard itself. The keyboard starts to dim after not touching it for 5 seconds, then totally fades out after Touching any key again and it’s back on not instant on, it just brightens back up very quickly, like maybe a full second, looks nice.

I think once iOS 11 rolls out this keyboard case will be perfect for someone who is looking to replace the functionality of a MacBook. Then for short trips I was able to just use my iPad Pro 9.

It was great in a pinch but still couldn’t replace my MacBook because the keys are cramped, its not backlit etc, not to mention the lack of functionality in iOS.

I was really looking forward to the Logitech Slim Combo for my brand new A little background to start I’m coming from an I was really looking forward to the Logitech Slim Combo for my brand new It added protection as well as a great keyboard with little bulk.

Plus the iPad itself was fully detachable in a very slim case. I thought I’d get the same from Logitech but calling this case “slip” is a cruel joke.

For some reason it’s designed to have about 3mm of open space between the keyboard and iPad when closed–it’s thicker than my macbook pro. Add to that the keyboard and case itself are very bulky and cheap feeling and this thing is really unacceptable.

When detached the separate case on the iPad itself has a huge lip around all sides which makes it very uncomfortable to use and the kickstand feels like it will break.

I wish there was a better option like my old Belkin that offered a lighted keyboard with function keys and little bulk.

Perhaps worst of all though, the case sticks out a couple inches from the top of the iPad, it fits horribly! Plus, the keyboard has this weird black protrusion it the top of it, not sure if it’s a battery or what.

Weighs way too much and adds way too much bulk, the kickstand feels like it may break any second. I hope they make an effort to re-engineer it but until then, I won’t be keeping it.

Don’t buy this case! Bought this product in the Apple store and tried it out – seemed to work really well and exactly what I was looking for.

Really not sure what happened but it seems to have just stopped working. Tried everything I can think of – cleaned the ports restarted the iPad.

Charged it fully overnight etc, but no joy.

It clicks in nice and neatly but nothing happens thereafter. So disappointed – any ideas would be welcome!

I honestly have no idea what these people are talking about? Pros: Excellent protective case that lock the iPad Pro in place. Great location for Apple Pencil version 1.

Backlit keyboard is excellent and I would not get a keyboard without it. Function keys on keyboard are excellent. Ability to adjust viewing angle to the widest range I have ever seen.
