What else can I say – it’s well made – and we don’t have any other choices!

Of course this will not fit the Tab 3 or other Lenovo tablet versions, or tablets from other makers.

I just mention this because one buyer seemed to think this should fit his tablet just because it also had a I usually stick with Moko and Fintie cases, but they didn’t have one for the Tab 4 When this arrived, though, it sure looked like a jillion Fintie cases I have bought over the years for iPads, Nex9, etc.

Which is fine – it’s nicely and solidly made. What’s very cool are the forward aiming speaker “hoods” that form a part of the edge that clamps the the long side of the tablet where the diagonally firing speakers are located.

Rather than muffling the “caseless” design of the tablet speakers, this case actually improves their aim! So when you do to slide the tablet in the case, don’t push too hard, there will appear to be a gap along the speaker edge side, but that’s actually there to allow space for the speakers to fire.

Just go by feel, not by visuals, and when the speaker edge meets resistance, push down on the opposite edge to clamp the tablet in the case.

I’m glad this case isn’t too thick, because I’m sure you love how thin the Lenovo is stock from the factory. It’s also pretty defenseless, which is why I kept it pretty much in a drawer until I got this case.

Summary: we don’t have a lot of choices. Fortunately this is a good one! And cheap, too.

Caution: Lenovo makes it’s own case for this, so that is an alternative. BUT they also make a reasonably priced keyboard cover case combo – and according to the only online reviewer I could find, THAT Lenovo case doesn’t snap on, it uses adhesive for a permanent fix.

They measured incorrectly by about 2mm.

Doesn’t fit the tablet it’s built for. It’s about 2mm too short on the camera side. All of the holes line up but it won’t grab on the bottom near the bend of the case.

Have a nice groove carved into my tablet from trying to snap the case on now too.
