Sorry, this is no news nor any innovation of any kind. I mean, this huge lens when extended totally disappeared inside the case when retracted.

What a joke. This “thing” from Hasselblad, “now”, is as much innovation as nothing.

So how long are doing with our smartphones, a few years? Especially phones with Android software are notorious for just 1 or 2 system updates before they become completely uninteresting to it’s manufacturers.

Then what if we buy a new one, what to do with this expensive add-on module? It will become worthless. Bad investment if you ask me. This thing sits in the pocket with your phone and isn’t dust proof nor drop proof.

It won’t even last the life of one phone let alone one or two Android update.

I still feel strongly that the right product for most photogs isn’t a ‘serious camera smartphone’ but a ‘serious camera with Android’. Maybe this is a stretch for Canon, but surely Sony, who already makes smartphones, could throw a touchscreen on an a7III and let me do basic post-processing and photo-sharing right on the back of my camera?

Uh, no. Hasselblad really seemed to be onto something good with the X1D, and the H6D and its newest lenses are probably very capable.

But this phone-cam shows they didn’t fire enough of the people who liked the idea of slapping a wood grip onto a Sony and tripling the price.

But I still wished to see a brighter zoom. Smilar to the one which Olympus XZ has!

Or wished to see a little bigger sensor as Fujifilm X compact cams. Still dunno why Sony never tried that combination with their QX line.

No zoom means less advantages almost no advantages over built-in camera. Panasonic make one built in. It’s inexpensive, lightweight and will keep going for days on a single battery charge.

While it’s not great for video and its wireless image transfer is slow, the D is a simple and un-intimidating camera that’s a great starting point for beginners.

Banhmi Interesting, but ultimately, this is going to be another extremely niche product. Artak Hambarian Totally agree. I think that is inevitable!

But still, it has pretty long zoom! Which is as excellent. And hopefully it has a tripod joint! Joe Ogiba p? I am out!

QX1 can be used with a prime. As can Olympus Air.
